  • Amazing season so far

    By Salt Lake Boy
This season is so much better than season 11. I hope Gillian Anderson comes to her senses.
  • Horrible

    By Corb0046
No time or thought put into the writing,,,and the actors are ALL old enough to be wearing depends and walk with advice would be to give it up and put it to rest.. but I’m glade they put the chemtrail planes up for thought.. if your that desperate for money stand on a street corner...
  • Not worth it!!

Whom ever wrote the script for this season, has to be on crack!
  • First episode blows then the fun begins

    By PayWhoYaOwe
Some other folks mentioned the same thing. First episode is clunky and weak. Then we get back to what we love about this show. The two at the top. By the way, fourth episode is so good. The poster in the background. Hilarious!
  • Really bad will not be watching another episode

I am stopping partly beCise although I’m not political it is cliche to talk disparaging about political parties and if you do at least show the other side in a negative light as well. Tired of being preached at by these writers when all I want to see is good spooky quirky horror sci-fi . It’s not that hard but this recent xfiles manages to make it look very hard. I don’t know if I laughed at one of their MANY cringeworthy jokes. I they’re trying to be funny but it comes off as arrogant and that’s the only common theme I have been able to deceived through this show. Miss the old episodes dearly.
  • Get past the first episode, and it’s great

    By ListmakerLisa
I was disappointed that the first episode included a cheesy bit on the moon landing conspiracy. It was as if the first episode had to create an artificial mood of distrust. However, episode 2 is hilarious in many places, showing off the acting chops of the main characters. Episode 3 gets back to the “bread and butter” and is excellent. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
  • I wish I could unseen this

    By Drunken Chicken
If you ever loved the Xfiles like me this season will cure you from everything you ever felt for this show. I am cured and will never watch anything from the Xfiles again. I will never even want to see anything with botox face David D. in it. This was truly garbage to make some easy money.
  • This ain't the X-Files

    By Blah1356
I hate it when they bring back a great show and try to make more money. The first episode was disjointed with horrible acting and really bad/confusing commentary. They must of spent a couple hours before filming making the script. Aliens was the back story all the other mysteries you could think of were the main story. If they keep on trying to horribly tell the alien story I'll never make it through very many more episodes.
  • Episode 2 "This" worst X files ever

    By JustMy2Sense
Chris where you under the weather when your wrote "This"? Because that episode would have been relevant in 1985. In 2017 it's severly dated, tame, lame and was a bore fest the whole way through. You can do better than this.
  • Close, but a bit rushed: Mr. Y-Files.

    By DJ Lee
Episode 1, lots of voice over - when you do that, it feels rushed. Your STORY should tell the story, not a second voice over all through the episode. They did a house scene in DAYLIGHT - X-Files would never do that... Always .... At Night, in the fog or rain... LOTS of product placement with FORD Pony car chase scene, very heavy handed in-line commercial until it was offensive. I am so glad they are making new episodes, but this one was a bit ...rushed... and compressed, and explained too much. But they are pressed for time and budget, it seems - no 24 episodes to while away the hours. Different Feel, for a different age, a different America. The new, alternate time line we live in here. Alternate, not better.
