I thought the movie was not too bad but then again I'm a sucker for a sword and sandal epic. Really the biggest drawback, if you can let the anachronisms slide, is Kiefer Sutherland's acting, which for this movie alone deserves a lifetime achievement Razzie.

I am not an action movie enthusiast but I felt this movie had enough action/romance/thrill in it to keep you entertained the whole time. I will watch it again with my husband.

The best part for me was how it portrayed the city of Pompell, which was accurate. Everything else was terrible. It was pretty much a rip off of Gladiator, except this was much more corny and romanticized. A lot of the time when there was random explosions and buildings falling, they were just standing there staring at each other. Don't they know that they should clear the area as fast as possible? It was also extremely predictable. In the end, it made me laugh at its atrociousness.

The movie was one of the most entertaining movies that I watched. It was a good diversion from a stress.

This movie is one of my favorites with mainly the romance in it. The director, writers, producers, and just everyone who made this amazing movie, has an incredible sense of romance. I love how milo and cassia looked together deeply into each other's eyes and saving each other's lives, and their special ending kiss of their last moment together. It was just a perfect kind of romance in any movie and this one had it. That's what got my attention to watching this movie when I saw the trailer :)

I am easily entertained but this movie was as bad as Her. Stupid, no surprises, horrible acting.

I was iffy about watching this movie and saw it on a whim while traveling and I have no regrets about it. Not a movie I'd watch twice in theaters, but definitely a storyline that visually brings the real tragedy to life and a movie I will never forget. Definitely a romantic action movie that my boyfriend and I enjoyed and would rent to watch again at home. Some people say parts of the disaster were not scientifically on par, but the movie is still enjooyable none the less and a story worth re-living through a movie.

Pompeii is a must see movie it has action and romance in it I think everyone should love it yet some people think it's all about having to find all the problems in it I'd like to see those people make a move and when it does terribly I will laugh in there faces
